Michael Jackson is dead.
I am inexplicably saddened.
Somebody please find me one of these. http://www.yourprops.com/view_item.php?m
It's the green tea mug that Giles drinks from in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I want one, very much. Please?
Also, my other blog is doing quite well. I have managed to post just about every week day. I might even keep it up!
I finally have gotten myself back online. I have a domain and everything! Harbn.com. There's a possibility I'll move this blog to kevin.harbn.com, but it's not like I really keep up with this one as it is. Of course that's partly because I can't access it at work; I probably can still get access since it's my own domain.
I worked alot on my garden yesterday. If you've explored my website you've probably seen the pictures. The weather was wonderful, however I got sunburned on my shoulders.
I've been watching Dollhouse and I think it's really well done. Please watch it.
My personal waste of webspace is coming along nicely.
Can I do a sketch a day? I'm going to try.
I feel certain that I logged in to say something else.
EDIT: Maybe it was this: http://www.nutritiondata.com/ That site has some pretty cool, informative graphs on various food types.
Fact #1: I am at work right now.
Fact #2: I love my job.
Fact #3: I turned in my resignation effective Nov 7 and I'm sorry this is how you found out.

I have a new friend (
makestuffgreat ) Yay!
This Saturday I started my second batch of Scuppernong grape wine. I took pictures along the way and have written some descriptions for the pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kevinharbin/s
It's been a year now since my surgery. I have been quite pleased. My eye's have gotten back to normal I think and there haven't been any complications. I can now whole heartily recommend looking into Corrective Laser Eye Surgery. Sometimes it's hard to remember what it was like having to wear glasses. I think that's a good thing.
Plans are steadily moving forward for the trip to Raleigh to see The Dark Knight in the Imax. Bought the tickets yesterday, nice lady on the phone.
The whole wine process has gone well. Bottled on Thursday. I happen to think it tastes pretty good. I dreadfully fear less than truthful reactions from other people. But I guess if Powell and I are the only ones who drink it, it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. I started a Cabernet Sauvignon from concentrate on Friday. That should got pretty smoothly too. I might have started the sugar content too high, which isn't too likely to be a problem. Now that I've gotten the feel for wine making i'm going to start experimenting with additives, specifically tannin. The Scuppernong I just made probably had enough naturally that it probably wouldn't have benefited from any added.
The Concord grapes on Powell's land are doing pretty well this year. There's not nearly enough to make a regular batch of wine, but we're gonna see what we can do.

So, after my recent call to Xbox Customer Support I had hoped that my problem would be resolved. I was very excited today to see a package from the repairs center! Oh, but guess what. It's the wrong piece. Just the power cord, not the adapter as I specifically requested.
I'm not happy.
Apparently after I send my broken adapter in I can pay $20 to have a new adapter sent to me. yay
